KP Sharma Oli Congratulates Balen Shah After Jhapa-5 Election a senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), after Shah was elected to the House of Representatives from Jhapa Constituency No. 5.
Shah secured victory in the constituency on Saturday with 68,348 votes, defeating Oli, who received 18,734 votes, according to the final vote count. Following the announcement of the results, Oli shared an old photograph with Shah and publicly congratulated him.
He also extended his best wishes for Shah’s upcoming five-year term in parliament. “Balen Babu, my best wishes for a smooth and successful five-year tenure,” Oli said in his message.
